Hemp Seed Oil - Why Hemp may be the next super plant

What it is, why we love it and why more people need to use it

Hemp Seed Oil is one of the most nourishing ingredients for your skin.

And at the moment in the world of skin care? Not enough people know about it.

But all of that is about to change.

Before we dive into why Hemp Seed Oil is so important to add into your skin care routine, we would like to share some important facts with you about this incredible plant.

1. The Hemp Seed oil that we use in our products, is NOT something that will get you high.

Although Hemp Seed Oil is harvested from the Cannabis Sativa plant, it is only derived from the seeds of the plant and from a strain of the Cannabis plant which has less than 0.03% THC. This means that Hemp Seed Oil contains only minuscule traces of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) which is the compound of the plant that alters your state of mind and gives you that “high” feeling. Therefore Hemp Seed Oil will not alter your state of mind in any way.

Even though our products won’t make you feel high, we do hope that they will give you a feeling of wellbeing and elevation once you see your soft and beautifully glowy skin or beard.

2.Hemp plants are eco friendly and amazing for the environment.

This is because they are one of the fastest growing plants on earth. They absorb more carbon dioxide than most other plants, they nourish the soil instead of depleting it, and they require less water to thrive.

3.No pesticides are used to grow Hemp.

This means that you know exactly what you are getting - a product that works, that is clean, and that (as mentioned above) is great for the environment.

Whilst still relatively new to usage in skin care, Hemp Seed Oil is fast becoming known as an incredibly beneficial oil due to its high levels of fatty acids. This gives it wonderful moisturising properties which nourishes not just the skin, but also beard and facial hair, making it perfect for everyone, every day.

For The Face.

Hemp Seed Oil wont clog your pores, which makes it suitable for all skin types including oily and acne prone skin. It allows skin to breathe while delivering very welcome doses of Vitamins A, D and E which your skin LOVES. These can help protect your skin from free radicals while keeping it healthy, clean and glowing.

Hemp Seed Oil is also a great source of Omega 6 (also known as GLA - Gamma Linolenic Acid) which is a vital ingredient in skin care. It has a positive multi effect of moisturising and nourishing the skin, while calming any inflammation and helping to reduce the signs of ageing. It also contains Omega 3 and Omega 9, and together they help to rebalance your skins natural oil levels, without being “oily” and they also help to prevent acne and breakouts, while leaving your skin looking balanced, clean and healthy.

Oleic acid is also found in Hemp Seed Oil. Oleic acid is something that can’t be produced by your body, but as a natural component, it can help dry skin feel more hydrated, and it can also benefit sensitive or irritated skin.

Amazing! I need to shop The Face now!

For The Beard.

If knowing how great Hemp Seed Oil is for the skin wasn’t enough, just WAIT until you hear how good it is for your beard!

Hemp Seed Oil is high in Vitamin E, which makes it a great natural conditioner for your skin and hair. As you rub it into your skin it increases blood circulation and it deeply penetrates the hair shaft giving it a smoother and healthier appearance. It helps prevent water loss and keeps more moisture in the beard, hair and skin, leaving you looking healthier, plumper and more nourished at every turn.

Hemp Seed Oil has also been suggested to stimulate hair growth by penetrating into the skin and hair easily. Not only does it assist with the growth, but it also provides intense nourishment while assisting in keratin production to promote thicker, stronger, and healthier hair.

This is just what I have been looking for! It’s time to shop The Beard.
