MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Mental Health is an area close to our hearts.

As a Youth Counsellor, Fran is increasingly seeing more and more mental health issues arising for young people. And as a Builder, Dave is increasingly seeing tradies and similar “masculine” workers hiding their struggles due to fear of stigma and wanting to appear ‘strong’. 

1 in 4 young people and 1 in 5 adults were already struggling with their mental health before the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a staggering statistic, and such a high number potentially means that right now we are each closely connected to someone who is struggling with their mental health, if not yourself reading this now.

Everyone deserves support, and we refuse to stand by and watch others struggle when we know we can do our part to help in some way.

Because, not only do we want to help our customers feel their best by looking their best, but we also want to aid in supporting their mental health struggles, as well as the mental health of people all around Australia, regardless of culture, race, gender or orientation.

And THIS is why we promise to donate 5% of all profits to a Mental Health Organisation in Australia, every year. Each year that we are in buisness we will be increasing our % donated by 1% until we hit 50% of our profits going to a Mental Health Organisation that supports young people in Australia. we are currently in discussion with a local organisation that we will be making our donations to and we can't wait to share more information with you soon. Therefore the longer and more frequently you continue to support us, the more you are supporting all Australians to get the mental health support they need.
