It also takes up relatively little space in the environment for the yield it produces per acre, when compared to trees. This means that we can have a greater output, but with a smaller footprint.

WHAT IS AUSTRALIAN WHITE KAOLIN CLAY?

White Kaolin Clay is quite mild, making it an excellent choice for sensitive skin.

It is rich in minerals, and helps to restore and replenish skin with moisture while also drawing out impurities. It is rich in Silica which helps to improve skin elasticity, and cell renewal for glowy, younger-looking skin.

ARE ALL THE INGREDIENTS IN HEMP CO AUSTRALIA PRODUCTS VEGAN FRIENDLY?

Everything we produce is made from all natural and vegan ingredients, and we do not test any of our products on animals.

We only test our products on humans who love their skin as much as we do.

DO YOUR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS CONTAIN ANY PRESERVATIVES?

We only use natural plant-based ingredients, therefore the shelf life of our products may be shorter. 

However, preservatives are necessary in order to ensure that your skincare stays at its most effective in different climates and environments. It is because of this, that we use only natural preservatives and nothing synthetic.

I'M PREGNANT - CAN I USE YOUR PRODUCTS?

First of all - Congratulations! How exciting!

We wish you all the best with your pregnancy.

Our products are all natural and plant based, which means that they are safe to use during pregnancy.

However, if you have any concerns then please consult with your GP.

IS HEMP CO AUSTRALIA COMPANY BASED IN MELBOURNE?

Yes, we are based in Melbourne, Australia and all of our products are made right here too. We love supporting local small businesses.

HOW DO I PURCHASE WHOLESALE?

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS HAND MADE?

Yes! They are made in Melbourne, by hand, in a big vat. It was important to us to have a product that someone has thoughtfully and lovingly created for our customers, by someone who cares.

 And what is even better than that? When you buy products from us, you are also supporting our local makers - who are fellow small business owners, just like us.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO SEE RESULTS AFTER USING YOUR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS?

You will see results straight away (after a single use), when using the Mask.

Changes will start to occur immediately with the Eye Elixir and Daily Moisturiser as well, however it will take a little longer to see results. We recommend giving a period of 30 days to allow the skin to adjust and see changes here.

IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?

Yes, we try our best to support the environment through our packaging, which for the most part is recyclable.

And this is why we have chosen glass containers instead of plastic, and why we have tried to keep plastic to an absolute minimum in our packaging. We don’t want to see our packaging end up in landfill. Glass can be recycled again and again.

**This also means that some products in glass can be dangerous if dropped in the shower - so watch those slippery fingers please!**  

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON HOW I CAN REUSE YOUR PACKAGING AT HOME?

DO YOU USE YOUR OWN PRODUCTS?

Heck yes! We actually developed these products with the help of our Chemist for our own use, and we loved them so much that we knew we had to make them accessible to YOU!

WHAT IF I HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION FROM USING THE PRODUCTS?

If you have suspected or known skin allergies, we suggest consulting with your GP prior to purchasing.

We also recommend patch testing any Hemp Co Australia products on a small patch of skin either inside of your elbow or behind your ear prior to use.

If you do have an allergic reaction, then please contact us via hello@hempcoaustralia.com.

We will be happy to refund you, however we do require that you provide before and after photos so we can assess your reaction to our products. 

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE HEMP CO AUSTRALIA SKIN CARE FOR BEST RESULTS?

For best results we recommend using our Eye Elixir and Daily Moisturiser every morning and night (both AM and PM).

Our Peppermint & Hemp Cleanser can be used daily in the PM for best results.

Our Avocado & Hemp Green Clay Mask should be used 3 times a week for best results. Always remember to moisturise with our Daily Moisturiser 15 minutes after your Clay Mask application. 

IS REDNESS AFTER USING THE CLEANSER NORMAL?

Our Cleanser is soft and gentle as it replenishes the healthy oils instead of stripping the skin. We don’t use a foaming agent in our cleanser therefore redness is less likely, however it is still common. If you do experience any redness, then it should ease quickly.

WILL I BREAK OUT AFTER USING THE MASK?

Masks are wonderful at making the skin more beautiful and clear.

However it is completely normal if you breakout after using the mask. This is because the Kaolin Clay in our Mask detoxifies the skin by pulling out impurities from beneath the skin's surface.

Yes, breakouts simply mean that your skin detoxifying ad getting rid of all of the toxins, and that our mask is doing its job.

Breakouts will clear up, but the amount of time it takes for this to happen is different for everyone. Once your skin has detoxed, then you will be one step closer to beautiful and clear skin.

Note: If our clay mask has caused a strong reaction to your skin like a rash, irritation, redness, burning or severe acne, and this is causing you concern, then please stop using the product immediately and consult with your GP.

I HAVE NUT ALLERGIES- CAN I USE YOUR PRODUCTS?

All of our Beard products contain Sweet Almond Oil, therefore we recommend avoiding this range.

There are no nut oils in our Eye Elixir, Daily Moisturiser, Peppermint & Hemp Cleanser or our Avocado & Hemp Green Clay Mask however they are made in the same warehouse as our beard range, so if you are highly allergic then we recommend avoiding our products.

However please check all ingredients on any product you use before applying it to your skin. If ever you are unsure, then please consult with your GP. 

IS REDNESS AFTER USING MY AVOCADO & HEMP GREEN CLAY MASK NORMAL?

Yes, redness after a clay mask application is totally normal.

Your face may go red because the clay brings blood to the surface of your skin while it's drawing out the toxins and impurities from your skin.

To help with any redness: 

Don’t leave the mask on for more than 15 minutes.Use warm fresh water to remove your mask.Ensure that the face towel you are using to remove the mask is soft. If it is dry or too rough, you may damage and pull your skin, causing more redness.Wait around 15 minutes to let your skin breathe, before you apply your moisturiser.

Also, you may feel a slight tingle when you first put on the Mask. This is also quite common due to the inclusion of clay, as it helps draw out the impurities in your skin.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE AVOCADO & HEMP GREEN CLAY MASK?

We recommend using a soft towel and either cool or warm fresh water to remove the mask.

We also recommend moisturising with our Daily Moisturiser 15 minutes after the mask is removed to ensure your skin stays hydrated.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

Our products have an approximate shelf life of 12 months from opening.

To ensure the viability of our products, then please make sure you store your products in a cool dry place, below 30 degrees C.

I HAVE ECZEMA / ROSACEA - IS YOUR AVOCADO & HEMP GREEN CLAY MASK SUITABLE FOR ME?

Yes! Our products are suitable to use on skin prone to eczema or rosacea.

If you do suffer from either of these conditions, then you may experience a slight tingling sensation on your first use. However, our products do not contain any ingredients that might trigger eczema or rosacea.

In saying that, everyone’s skin reacts differently to certain skin care products, therefore, it is always best to check with your GP if you have any major skin concerns.

We also recommend testing our products on a small patch of skin either inside of your elbow or behind your ear.

Finally, as clay masks can be known to dry your skin, it is incredibly important to remember to moisturise with our Daily Moisturiser 15 minutes after removing the mask.

I SHAVE, CAN I STILL USE THE BEARD & FACE OIL?

Yes, the Beard & Face Oil works wonders for beards or moustaches of any length, because it is so hydrating whilst still supporting the skin underneath. After a shave it is a great way to soothe the skin. Try it, your skin will love you for it.

HOW DO I APPLY THE BEARD BUTTER?

Wash your beard: For best results, always start with a fresh clean beard.

If you also have our nourishing Beard & Face Oil: Apply 4-5 drops into your palm and rub hands together. Massage into the skin, then work from the root to the tip throughout the beard. Excess oil can be massaged into the face.

Apply Beard balm: Take a desired amount of Beard Butter into the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together and warm the butter before spreading evenly throughout your beard.

Style your beardBrush or comb your beard in your preferred style.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

We use Australia Post to deliver our parcels to within Australia.

Shipping usually takes within 1-5 business days for Australian orders once they are packed and processed. However please note that there may potentially be shipment congestions of up to 10 days due to unusually high amounts of parcels being sent within Australia due to COVID-19. This is out of our control, though you will continuously be updated via shipping updates.

Please make sure you use your email address at checkout to receive updates.

I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS OR CANCEL MY ORDER, BUT I THINK IT HAS ALREADY BEEN SHIPPED?

We strongly recommend that you always double-check your address before placing your order, as once it has dispatched then there is nothing we can do.

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched then you will need to wait for it to reach you and then return it to us at your own cost for a refund.

Please return the product still enclosed in the box as opened products cannot be returned.
